We have traveled and played all over the world. We see so much about hatred, racism, violence and worse. There are approximately 8 billion people on the planet and pretty much most of the ones we have met have been fine, decent, kind, generous, helpful beautiful human beings.

Lyrics

The warning signs were coming in 1845
It was hard enough already to live here and survive
But when the praties failed us it was either die or leave
Be careful now my children who you choose to believe

Climb on board we’ll take take you to a land across the sea
It’s got everything you’ll need there, you’ll be all that you can be
The powers that be have sworn to us and they would not deceive
Be careful now my children who you choose to believe

They say a million perished and another million fled
Across the great Atlantic to find some daily bread
In the struggle for survival, they had no time to grieve
Be careful now my children who you choose to believe

They say it was the lucky ones were offered servitude
No Irish need apply for jobs there even if they could
No chance here for a better life, they found no reprieve
Be careful now my children who you choose to believe
